Opportunity: Workshop: Managing Quality in a Contract Manufacturing Partnership

Contract manufacturers are utilized widely in the dietary supplement industry for their expertise and manufacturing capabilities and capacity, among other reasons. Though these manufacturing partners offer a great resource to brand owners, product integrity and compliance with FDA’s manufacturing regulations ultimately fall to the brand owner, tasking brand owners with the role of managing quality every step of the way during the contract manufacturing process. This session will review:

• Regulatory responsibilities of a contract manufacturing partnership;
• A thorough review of quality systems needed by brand owners to ensure product integrity and partnership success; and
• The purpose and process of creating a quality agreement with a manufacturing partner.
